Important Terms in Brijj
Please review the below important terms as they will be referred to frequently in Brijj and in Knowledge Base Articles
By 'Insight' we mean any output resulting from a data, reporting, BI, MI, Analytics, research project or any type of related outputs which are used to inform organisational stakeholders to make a decision, or take an action.
By 'Consumer' we mean any individual who uses 'Insight'. Nearly every person in an organisation will be a consumer. In Brijj, any user on the platform will be able to partake in consumer actions.
By 'Creator' we mean any individual who builds 'Insight'. Common Job Titles are 'Data Analyst', 'BI Developer' etc however many people in an organisation will be involved in the building of 'Insight', and so therefore be a Creator. In Brijj, Admins and Creators on the platform will be able to partake in Creator actions.
By 'Admin' we mean any individual who will manage the Brijj platform itself.
By Lead, we mean any user has been designated as a leader within a given team.
By contributor we mean any user who has been added to a request as a contributor. This allows them to view and comment on the request.
Closely related to 'Proof', by 'Evaluation' we mean a piece of insight which is to built without an expected or needed outcome to help mould the analysis or work. For example; if a Sales Manager were to ask the question "Please tell me how much money we save our clients on average" this would be an evaluation.
Closely related to 'Evaluation', by 'Proof' we mean a piece of insight which is to built with an expected or needed outcome to help mould the analysis or work. For example; if a Sales Manager were to ask the question "Please show how we save our customers as much money as our competitors" this would be a 'proof'.
By 'Quality' we mean how closely a piece of work meets or exceeds requirements, and how consistent collaboration and communication were during the project.
By 'Utility' we mean how helpful a piece of work was to the making a decision or taking an action, and how important the decision or action was in creating a positive organisational outcome.
By 'Application' we mean what was actually done with an insight. What decision, action or outcome was achieved.
